Every business must buy and sell, and what it sells is either a product or service. eProducts keeps track of three types of items: inventory products, non-inventory products, and services. eProducts speeds data entry in eSales, helps maintain data uniformity, tracks a physical inventory, plays a critical role in inventory financial valuation in eFinance, creates kits of associated products and assists in the ordering and management of inventory levels.
eProducts has multiple fields for describing and categorizing products so that grouping and subgrouping can be easily managed or selected. It also tracks what is on-hand, on-order, and inventory minimums and recommended purchasing amounts. eProducts also stores the vendor cost, list price and selling price, and taxable status. In addition, there is a Notes field for each item for text notes, and it is possible to attach separate files for images, drawings or additional information for the record. A url stored in the Notes field can be easily launched, if the item has an on-line link, too.
